Avril Lavigne iniciou a divulgação de seu novo single, ROCK N ROLL, com um grande projeto que está dividido em fases, iniciado com a divulgação da capa do single e áudio da canção. Depois, o site da cantora foi atualizado e no canto superior do lado esquerdo, há um ícone com o texto : STREAM ROCK N ROLL.

Ao clicar, o visitante é redirecionado a uma página com a capa do single ao fundo e com informações sobre como participar do lyric video do novo single. A única forma de participar é pelo Instagram e das seguintes formas: você pode gravar um vídeo e criar uma interpretação para trechos da canção, que foram divididos em quatro grupos ou fazer o design gráfico destes trechos em vídeo. Ambos devem ser postados no Instagram e a partir do site da Avril autorizar o uso dos vídeos, sendo que os melhores farão parte do lyric video!
